Offset-Apex-Shed and Clearance

As can be seen in the pictures, we took down their old dilapidated shed and recycled it. We then dug up and excavated the area ready for a new slab base including compacting the hardcore and laying the slabs on a sand cement screed. This great shed features double doors, guttering, downpipe and water butt and a covered veranda-style area at the front.

The customers wanted a design like this as they were conscious of their neighbours and did not want it to appear much higher than the fence, which having the offset Apex style roof achieves. The shed was fairly large measuring 4.5m x 3.0m with a 500mm over-hang along the 4.5m front which then has the additional side rails. It features Georgian style windows, 1 being fixed and the 2 side ones opening. This design was a collaboration between the customer and us, starting with their initial thoughts which we then tweaked to enable us to manufacture a shed that the customers are rightly proud of, as are we!
